About Cheryl

Cheryl gives administrative support to the ministry areas of our Financial Office.

Serving since January, 2022.

BIO

Cheryl was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida while in elementary school. Although she attended Christian schools from preschool through high school, and she knew and loved Jesus, she truly surrendered to his Lordship as an adult. 

Cheryl earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and her Master of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Cheryl is married to her college sweetheart, Mark, and together they have a son, Calvin, and a daughter, Elyse. She spent many years in Florida until a job change gave her family the opportunity to move to Huntersville, North Carolina in 2005.

A fun fact about Cheryl is that before switching her major to accounting, she briefly studied journalism and wanted to be a television reporter!
