About Charlie

Pastor Charlie oversees our Family and Small Group Ministries by connecting individuals and families to groups and leaders who support, encourage and build one-another up through studying scripture, praying together and discipleship. Charlie also leads our Men’s Ministry.

Serving since April, 2009.

Pastor Charlie is originally from the central Virginia area. He was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and vibrant church where God called him to ministry as a senior in high school. Charlie married his wife, Melissa, in 2001 and have the joy of raising their five children. Their family has been active in ministering to other families through foster care and adoption.

Charlie has a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership and a Bachelors in Communications from Liberty University. He has also completed the Summit Leader Training and courses from the Society of Church Consulting. Charlie enjoys planning and leading Men’s Ministry events as well as supporting our small group leaders throughout the year.

A fun fact about Charlie is that he enjoys playing golf and had the opportunity to play Augusta National one time.
